The Mentoring Committee has been formed for preparing the Institute and Departmental level Mentoring process.
Functions of the Committee
Functions that the mentor provides the mentee. First Career related support second, emotional and psychosocial support and also provide guidance and motivation to the students.
Responsibilities of the committee
Coordinator Responsibilities
- Assigns a mentor for group of students
Member’s Responsibilities
- Prepare for the session.
- Follows through on Commitments made to mentee.
- Share resources. Consider and collect any resources that might be useful to the mentee.
- Advice the mentees on how to accomplish their goals.
- Informs supervisor of mentoring activities.
